Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 30 May 2026
UniverChat is rated 4+ (App Store) and Everyone (Google Play). We are committed to keeping young users safe and to complying with Apple's Child Safety guidelines and Google Play's Child Safety Standards (CSAE) policy.
No contact between users
- UniverChat has no public profiles, no messaging or chat between users, no forums, comments, followers, or friends.
- There is no way for one user to discover, contact, or share content with another user inside the App.
- Each person chats privately with the AI; conversations are stored only for that user.
CSAE prevention
We prohibit any attempt to use the App to create or obtain child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) material. Because there is no user-to-user communication and no shared media library, there is no surface for such material to be exchanged between users. Our Terms of Service forbid this use, and the underlying AI providers (Google) apply their own CSAE safety filters to generated content.
AI content safeguards
AI responses are generated by Google Gemini, which applies safety filters designed to block sexual content involving minors and other harmful output. No system is perfect, so if you ever see unsafe output, please report it using the channel below.
Age and purchases
The App is suitable for general audiences. In-app purchases are controlled by Apple's Ask to Buy and Google Play's family tools, so a parent or guardian approves any purchase made by a child.
Report a concern
